Pasco, WA – Educational Service District (ESD) 123 is proud to host the Ooey Gooey® Conference Saturday, September 27 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Presenter Lisa Murphy, known nationally as The Ooey Gooey® Lady, presents this exciting, hands-on workshop for parents, educators, child care providers, and early childhood organizations. The conference is to be held at the Red Lion located at 2525 N. 20th Street in Pasco.
In 1997, Lisa Murphy created "The Learning Through Adventure Company" (now known as Ooey Gooey® Inc.) in order to bring high-energy, informative, yet exciting, and FUN hands-on workshops to early childhood professionals. The Ooey Gooey® Conference presents topics related to early childhood education, specifically how to be more play-based in the classroom.
Kellie Horn, ESD 123's Early Childhood Education Coordinator, says, "Our department's vision is to build an early childhood education bridge among school districts (P-12), parents, and the community. We recognize that it is essential to coordinate with these partners in order to ensure the success of our youngest students."
Parents, educators, and child care providers are encouraged to attend this important event. For full registration information, visit the ESD's website at www.esd123.org or contact Kellie Horn at 544-5744.
